All of our merino wool socks have a nylon-wrapped covering to make them extra durable and LEGEND TUFF®.

I received a pair of your XL Over-the-Calf Boot Socks to try on my size 16 foot. First let me say they fit extremely well without restricting my toes or not going to the heel of my foot. The length was perfect for my 6’5″ height and the top of the sock rested just below my knee. The compression of the socks on both my feet and calves was remarkable. After wearing them all day, probably close to 5 miles traveled, the socks were still in place where they needed to be. My feet and calves also haven’t felt this good in some time and I have worn plenty of different brands of socks, with and without compression, in my 30+ years of wearing boots. I intend to purchase more and send a pair to my nephew that is a Wildland Fire Fighter. Good job on a great product.
